The process of making the work of 2D animation


If look at the type of animation that we already know the actual process of building an animation course vary according to the type of animation that exist. but this time I will discuss how to create 2D and 3D animation work beforehand.

And also keep in mind that the process of building work can be different animation sequences and perlakukannya, depending on the habits of each animation studio. each animation studio has its own pipeline depends how they consider most efficient. So here I will discuss the most common stages diginakan.

A. Animation 2D / traditional animation

1 Pre-production.
   













is the stage prior to production. Here all matters relating to the process of making animated work prepared. such as creating a team, create a story, make a script, create a storyboard, exposure sheet, make animatic, sound recording, making the design of the characters, designing color mood, and so on.


2. Production

is the stage of commencement of the process of creating animated work. At this stage is divided into several divisions.

- Keyframe. Charge of making motion pictures or key

- Inbetween. charge forward and motion pictures that have been made by keyframer.

- Pencil Test. images are still rough and rudimentary earlier will see the results first, by way of the scan and then set the software and display / previews.

- Cleanup. cleaning line drawing so neat and nice views.
- Scan. scan images into the computer.

- Color. coloring pictures by using software
- Finishing. improve the timing of animation and refinement. For example, adding image effects, etc.
- Render. Project completed and then stored in the form of movie files

3. Post-production

Is the last part of the series of the process of making animated work.

Here the animation work was going to be polished and edited so that it becomes a whole works unsightly.
